Hello everyone !!!

Today Lumineth Realm-lords Army Set is on pre orders.
at 9pm Paris time, only Australia & new Zealand are out of stock, so it look like the stock is enough.

On the price front , once again i am amazed at the "Change rate" GW using. it's 110£ or 145€ (revolut get me 123€) if you order from any internet store in the UK you get 88£ or 98€ on revolut...that's 47€ less than ordering from GW EU.... So plz if you are not planning to support your FLGS don't buy from GW at these EU prices.

Hello everyone !!

Images of the Lumineth Battletome (german) have reached the internet ^^

Sadly that mean all the unit have already been revealed. It's going to be a 10 kits new army (Ossiarch Bonesreaper were 14 iirc).

Hello everyone !!

WHTV made a big fluff post on the Lumineth, it's a bit the part 2 of the Lumineth lowdown 1. TBH there is nothing really new but the new arts are incredible!

Elven gods made different new Race but the most stable of the aelven races, were the Lumineth. but Tyrion and Teclis ignored the darkness at the heart of their new creations.

The Lumineth quickly spread across the Ten Paradises of Hysh, forging empires and taming the Realm of Light through magic.

The discovery of aetherquartz would lead the Lumineth to even greater heights – and, eventually, their downfall. They managed to stock light power in the aetherquartz but once used, the stone would no longer contain illuminating light but emotions taken from the user.

Driven by the power offered by aetherquartz, the Lumineth soon began having conflict all of the the place and while Teclis was away it escalated in a full WAR !

This war allowed Slaneesh Daemon into the Realm !

Ultimately, Teclis would be the salvation of the Lumineth. Allying himself with the ancient spirit known as Celennar, Teclis would return to Hysh with the secrets to bonding with the realm itself. Temples were founded to the aelementiri – the elemental spirits of the Hysh – based around tenets of humility and self-sacrifice. Aelves gained new elemental abilities, such as the Alarith, who could turn their skin to stone to emulate the mountains of their realm. Together, step by bloody step, the Lumineth would repel the forces of Chaos in the Wars of Reinvention, emerging from this conflict as the Realm-lords – creatures attuned to their natural world.

Interesting fluff, but again elves fluff is resolving around hubris allowing chaos & civil war. I'll add the fluff to the Age of Sigmar Lumineth mega thread.

Hello everyone !!

GW revealed the Endless Spells for the Lumineth...

Sadly they are quite bad looking :( maybe the Twinstone is a bit better but beehhh

Sanctum of Amyntok

1 shield/wall type effect, depending on the deploying rules, the spell could be super strong or trash ^^

Hyshian Twinstones

They charge as you cast spell near them and give a buff around them.

Rune of Petrification

Wow, that's a terrible model :(

Damn that feels strong! And Lumineths are Immune to it...

Conclusion

Really disappointed with how these spells look :( I understand the Intent of having Magic Words Floating but this is not working.

Wow lot of news today ^^ GW made new a Exemplars of the Lumineth article about Teclis and Eltharion. They also teased new models :

These look cool but i am afraid these last 3 are in fact Endless spells...

Also, i am not fan of the zen/horned/mage face

Don't you think the bottom of the helmet and his face make him look like a baboon or the Monkey king ? Maybe that's the intent ^^

Still the army look interesting...i would paint them differently for sure, all these metal elements would look a lot better with NMM...

Hello everyone !!!

Gw released new images of the Vanari Dawnrider, the High Elf Cavalry !!! I mean they are not High elves but they are close enough to call them like this.

Honestly, the models are fine but not spectacular ... Maybe it's because horses are a bit bland? I don't know maybe.
Still, it's a nice addition to the AOS world a Classic high elves faction was kind of missing!

Neil Langdown, the miniatures designer responsible for the Vanari Dawnriders kit, ensured that the horses appeared at full gallop

It's a nice touch !! The group shot really show them galloping !!
